In accordance with the policies and protocols of National Little League and New York State law, Scarsdale Little League abides by the following policy regarding concussions in youth sports.
- Coaches and umpires will undergo concussion education on an annual basis.
- Concussion information is posted on the Scarsdale Little League website below.
- If there is any suspicion that a child may have suffered a concussion, the child will be immediately removed from any athletic activity.
- The child will not be permitted to return to athletic activity until symptom free for at least 24 hours and after being cleared by a licensed physician.
- Parents will be notified immediately of a suspected concussion.
